UNIFORM POLICY
Purpose
Uniform consistency reinforces the Roti brand and reflects professionalism, cleanliness, and team unity. Franchisees must ensure team members present themselves according to uniform guidelines to maintain guest confidence and operational standards.
Roti provides uniform shirts, hats, bandanas, and aprons to help create a cohesive and professional team appearance. Team members are responsible for maintaining and wearing their uniforms properly, including providing certain uniform components as outlined below:
Uniform Components
Roti Hat or Roti Bandana:
- All employees must wear a Roti hat or bandana while working on the line. All headwear must be kept clean and in good condition at all times.
Roti Shirt:
- Shirts must be clean, wrinkle-free, and replaced if faded or worn from washing. Long-sleeved undershirts may be worn underneath but must be solid black.
Apron:
- Aprons must be clean at all times and worn correctly around the neck. Aprons must be removed before entering the restrooms.
Jeans or Black Pants:
- Employees may choose between black pants or dark blue jeans. Shorts and skirts are not allowed. Pants must be clean, fitted at the waist, and free from rips, stains, logos, or decorative elements. Prohibited: light wash jeans, leggings, yoga pants, athletic wear, sweatpants, and embellished bottoms.
Non-Slip Shoes:
- All employees must wear closed-toe, closed-heel, slip-resistant shoes to ensure safety. Visit 'Non-Slip Shoes For Crews®' for approved options. Franchise Owners, Leadership, and Support Team Members must also comply when entering the kitchen or BOH areas.
Enforcement & Responsibility
Employees who report to work in violation of the uniform policy may be sent home to change or dismissed until their next scheduled shift. It is the employee's responsibility to replace lost, damaged, or worn uniform items at their own expense.
