Opening
Items to Provide Roti Prior to Opening:
ROTI requires the following to be submitted prior to approval for store opening:
- Completed Franchise Fact Sheet
- Project plan from GC detailing the divisions of labor and timing of each division.
- Weekly progress update from the General Contractor. These should be submitted to rotiplans@edible.com. The Design and Construction Team may request pictures and / or clarification of progress.
- Pre-Opening Pictures that show the completion of construction of the store (10 days prior to scheduled opening week)
- Certificate of Occupancy / health department certification, whichever is needed locally for opening (10 days prior to scheduled opening week)
- Signed Lease
- Certificate of Insurance
- Completed Weekly Debit Authorization form for the electronic funds transfer (EFT) of weekly royalties and fees
Opening Inventory Guidelines
Inventory/Equipment/Merchandise
You must follow all steps in New Store Management in ncompass. You should have ordered and received all opening inventory, merchandise, and equipment prior to opening.
You are required to purchase all products, equipment, and other selected items from the vendors Roti designates as approved vendors. No substitutions will be allowed.
Local Items
To prepare for your opening, you must acquire some items locally. These items include, but are not limited to:
- Garbage Dumpster rental if needed

Initial Food Order
Please work with your Operations Support person for the amount of Food & Packaging you should be ordering in preparation for your opening.
